Community College Outreach Program

The Biophysics Graduate Program is dedicated to nurturing connections and guiding the way from community colleges to advanced education. In collaboration with Dr. David Argudo of Gavilan College, we are launching an annual outreach initiative, inviting students from neighboring community colleges to experience our campus firsthand. This visit includes:

Panel session to introduce students to the graduate programs and professional schools
Observing student research talks
Lunch with current students
Facility tour
Panel of current students coming from a community college background
